written by red            on 11.07. at 23:02:21 - as answer to: Re: my son wants to learn ballet by julie atyou know, i think your son will be fine. i mean, there have been thousands of male dancers that have gone through the same things he might have to, and the teasing isn't usually that bad if your son is normal, etc. ("normal" ha, i guess i mean not very feminine) also, just get him a pair of black tights, they're not really that feminine, and make sure to get guys tights. if he's not too sensitive, he won't have a problem, and trust me, dance is definetly worth putting up with anything like that.
