Hi MSomes!

From what you wrote, I'm assuming that you haven't taken any kind of ballet class, or it's been a long time since you last took dance class.

Go with confidence. Ask questions about the class you want to take, with the instructor. Ask if you can "audit" the class--in other words, drop in to see the other potential classmates, and to see how advanced the lessons are. Most private dance schools allow this, but you might want to arrange a time and date, for some instructors.

I think ballet class is a way of becoming creative, becoming balanced, and taking recreation one step further. I encourage you to become a dance student.

Keep On Dancing!

Mohabee----------------------------------------------------Hello all, > I just wanted to get any advice on starting my begineer ballet classes in january. I have been going thru ballet videos to become familiar with the temrs etc so not to be too lost in class. any other late bloomers like to share their experinces. I am afraid of not being coordinated in class etc and flexable, though I do go to the gyum 5x a week and am in good shape.> thanks guys> msomes2001@yahoo.com
