>>>>>>>>>>>I check in pretty often, but this whole year has been a lot of hell for me- a second family member in less than a year has a terminal illness, and I'm the only caregiver in town. Between the strain of that and keeping the bills paid, relaxed, erotic fun has bec0me too much of a nostalgic memory. >>     I'll post when I have something worth saying- unfortunately that's not too often these days. Meantime, you all savor the good times in life. They can disappear in a flash. The people you love, tell them so clearly and often. You won't always be able to. Best wishes- Vic>>>>Vic, I'm so sorry. Dea and I are actually going through something similar (Dea's older sister has just been given six months-Hepatitis C and liver failure, one dreadful c0mbination...) it's been awful for me, even worse for Dea, but we're dealing with it with a new sense of togetherness. I hope you have something similar to help you through. I can't agree more with your last statements. I hope (and, from what you've written, trust) that you will c0me through this relatively unscathed, and the closest thing to prayer this agnostic can offer is with you. Let us know if you need to vent, OK?-Depon >>>>>>>>>Thanks for your kind words, and please accept my support & sympathies for the hard times you all are having. As hard as it is when the family members are elderly, as in my case, it has to be very hard when the someone you love is more in their prime years. It's good that you & Dea are pulling togther. Marie is great at the "crunch times", but the long-haul, day-in-day-out stress is another thing. I tend to "rage against the dying of the light", while she sees this as the closing chapter of a long, well written book. Her view is probably healthier, but I can't help how I'm wired, and my depression and stress doesn't sit well with her sometimes.     Prayers and good wishes to you two and Dea's sister--- Vic
