Now you old-timers at this site know I'm into white leather ballet slippers, and at times have had them custom made. But I have a friend who buys pink canvas slippers for class. When I asked why, he told me they can be dirt cheap. Near where I live there's a factory outlet where they have this back room with dance shoes that are "surplus." I buy jazz sneakers there for $15; a price better than even in discount sneaker stores. They have bins of pink ballet slippers for about $5 a pair.
